Legislative Advocacy
In 1948, the Music Operators of America (MOA) was founded by a small group of coin machine business owners to fight the repeal of the jukebox music royalty exemption.
Today, 75 years later, the organization - now the AMOA - is still fighting to preserve the interests of its members and the industry.
Through its Legislative Counsel, Dentons, AMOA maintains a presence in the nation’s capital, and whether it be issues such as proposed currency changes, ATM legislation and regulatory measures affecting vending/redemption equipment, video game content, music licensing, or small business rules, etc., the association is keeping close watch on federal matters affecting your business.
